If there’s ever been a couple that embraced this opportunity, then it’s Lexy and Andrew. They turned up and it just seemed they knew exactly how to be. I never ask much of my clients; all I ask is for you both to make plenty of eye contact and keep physical contact - holding hands, hugging, kissing, and walking in a particular direction or standing in a specific location…that’s it! I feel Lexy and Andrew didn’t need any of this guidance. They did all this and then some!

They also could not have picked a better location for some photos. The weather was cloudy, but as long as it’s not raining, I’m happy, especially in the Lake District, because it seems to stay once it rains! The specific location was The Inn on the Lake in Ullswater. The beautiful hotel is where Lexy and Andrew would be getting married, so it was an excellent choice for an engagement shoot, as it’s good “practice” for them and me.

Lexy and Andrew also brought their beautiful daughter Orla and Lexy’s parents, so we took some photos after the official engagement shoot to do some lovely family photos. This is the great thing about engagement shoots, they never have to be just about the couple, they can be anything you want them to be.
